How we estimate it
Driving estimates use EV charging only; backup power for homes counts as energy delivered, with no driving or CO₂ claim. Miles = EV-charging kWh × 3.5 (typical EV efficiency). Gallons avoided = miles ÷ 25 mpg (the gas car it replaces). CO₂ avoided = gallons × 8.887 kg (EPA tailpipe factor) − kWh × 0.39 kg (grid power used). These are estimates from crew-logged jobs, not carbon credits.
